6.0 intercooler install

Ok the guy in south jersey finally decided not to sell the intercooler out from under me.
So tonight I'm driving the 5 hour round trip to go get it... the craigslist ad said it included the boots.

My 2 questions are as follows:
1.) Does anyone have a link for step by step install instructions?
2.) If it indeed comes with boots do they work with the early 99 7.3 pipes or do I have to get the new boots from clay?

It's easy -- remove 7.3 I/C, install 6.0L I/C. Especially since you don't even have trans cooler in the way...

If it comes with boots, you don't need anything. The only one that's different is the passenger side. You have to taper from 3" to 3.25"...

Is that tapered side a "custom" part, or does it come on the 6ohs?

No, if it's 6.0 boots. You need a custom boot to connect it to the 7.3 I/C piping on the passenger side.

I actually sell all the boots individually or in a complete kit.

You should also get a larger clamp for the 3.25" side. The normal one will work.... barely. I got a full set of clamps with the boots that I bought; 3 were the same size, 1 was slightly larger.
