ya, I know that. I was just joking.
What would a turbo cost me?
How much boost can a 6.9 take under heavy load?
How much boost can it take with new head studs and gasket?

New turbo you are looking at around 2500 dollars give or take a little.

Used, I would say 500 up, but you have to make sure you get everything you need to install it.

I had to point out all that, we have a lot of visitors to the forum that just read and never post.
And since I have seen something like that rigged up on you tube, I have to point out it is a waste of time.

how about Stan's Headers and then may be propane? the headers are made in Washington and are pretty nice quality look at the pics on my profile. Also running 3" or bigger on each side helped you definitely need a pyro.

i was thinking about stans headers but i dont got the extra 500 bucks for them. also they only come in crome and im not going for the crome look with my truck. i was wondering if they would do them non crome for a lil less $$. also i heard propane isnt much good unless u got a turbo. im looking at gettin a nother 6.9 and turboing it so thats kinda a possability.

Were you loosing coolant?

Looks like antifreeze has been leaking into the cylinders onto hot metal.

Does the white stuff look like the white stuff in the coolant passage at the top right corner of this picture?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/a...ictureid=11635

Head gasket looks like it was blown to the right of the precup port to me.

yeah dave s said it, quite possibly coolant leaking. try getting some of the powder wet and then smelling it and if you are like me, taste, should either smell like burnt sugar or taste like it. if it is more like oily burnt smell then it may be something in that additive. never seen it personally.
