The ones on your 2000 are non-adjustable if I recall.

That bites.

It's worth it to put on later model TT mirrors so you can pull them out and install C-Betrs at the same time.

My passenger one will slide in and out but the driver's side seems to be stuck. Good thing it's stuck in the out position.

I have tow mirrors on my 2000 Limited Ex and they are adjustable.

I didn't think they made tow mirrors that couldn't be adjusted in and out.

I wonder if you guys with the stuck mirrors can get them unstuck with a ratcheting tie down strap.

Wrap the strap around the mirror, then something at the same height as the mirror that's solid and won't move (light pole next to a gas station?) then ratchet the strap to see if it will give.

Just gotta make sure the mirror isn't already fully extended in the stuck position.

I must be thinking of the 99 Super Duty tow mirrors. I know the earliest version of the tow mirrors was non-adjustable.

Maybe one was replaced?

Monsta you are correct. I have a 2000 that was manufactured in 10/99 and my mirrors are not adjustable.

Clean them and they won't stick, when I wash the truck I extend mirrors to keep clean and they work fine.

That's funny cause that's the same date on mine and I have the adjustable mirrors.
