Brought the 93 Lightning home today and going to start the disassembly tomorrow. The interior is mostly complete except for a speedo cluster and the glove box. The drivers door panel has a crack in it so I will need to find a replacement. Anyone have an idea if any other model of F150/Bronco will interchange? (It's the charcoal grey color)
Another question: I am hesitant to remove the whole dash assembly to install in my other truck. Is it a big job or should I just tape up the dash and paint it with some sort of Duplicolor plastic paint?
I am sure that other questions will arise as I get into this project so any help would be appreciated.
Lastly, I will be posting some items for sale that I don't need so stay tuned.
Maybe I should clarify what I am doing. I am removing all of the interior parts and installing them in my 95. Also, all of the suspension components as well. So in the end I will have a 4.9 Lightning.

If it were me doing the swap out, and I was going to all the trouble of swapping out other parts to Lightning-fy my F-150, I'd most certainly swap the entire dash to get it all correct. No el cheapo paint jobs, they are always showing what they really are, OK for internet photos, not so much for in person.
its honestly easier to take out the dash in the lightning and put it in your truck, it may seem like more work, but to tape off your dash and paint it will be more frustrating and will be much more obnoxious in the long run
Thanks guys. I removed all of the trim panels, seats and headliner with no problems. The dash must have over 50 screws holding it in. I got every one out except the couple that screw in from the firewall side and I am perplexed as to how I'm going to get those out. They must have put the duct work and dash in as one unit on the assembly line. Any ideas?
I Almost forgot, any idea how much a good Lightning cab and frame is worth? I will also be parting with the Lightning rear end less sway bar, springs and traction bars. If you're interested the line forms here->
