What big blocks will bolt up to a NP435 without much hassel? For example I know the 460 will but what about the others. Like the 360 and 390's...I want to upgrade from the 351M but I also want to keep my NP435. Thanks in advance.

Please don't pull out in front of me! The last thing I want to do is play identify the pieces with you or your car.
The small block windsor series, the 351 cleveland and 300 I6 share the same bolt pattern. The 351M and 400 even though in the same family as the clev. have the big block bolt pattern that matches the 385 series motor.
Robert, does your trans have the 8 1/2 by 6 1/4 pattern on the front ? If it does you should be able to head for the salvage yard and get another bell housing to use whatever engine you like. The 352/360/390s all use the same bell and many of these came infront of manual trannys. Most any manual tranny truck from '65 to '86 uses this pattern on the bell. DF

Yes, they would. The 351C and 351W have the same pattern on them . If you have a 351M, 999 out of 1000 of those have the 429/460 pattern on the back. But if you have a manual tranny the clutch housings are usually removeable. DF
