Not too well known any more, but actress/singer Gale Storm died today.

I watched both of her tv shows when I was growing up. Liked them pretty well.
I did do a net search a few years ago, seems she was still making appearances at that time.

Yes, some of us had the privilege to have seen some women that actually had class. Damn. Why do I feel so old all of a sudden? And BTW, it's not everyone that's dying, it's just that the MSM makes it such a big deal when a celeb kicks the bucket. Billy what's-his-name? Couldn't stand it when those loud-*** commercials came on anyway. I actually had an employee ask me for a day off so he could watch the Micheal Jackson funeral when it's on TV.

Everybody croaks, certainly any actor/actress who was performing in the 1950s is about ready for the big sleep. We see them in endless youth on the idiot box, while in real life they age. When they die decades after their career ended, it evokes nostalgia for those ancient, never to be repeated, gone forever times which are usually remembered with rose-colored glasses.
Micheal Jackson's heyday was a long time ago too. Fans are mourning the loss of their youth, not so much the celebrity that turned into a creepy pedo before he checked out.
