Finally got my new trailer last week. It's a 7'x24' utility trailer with 7k axles, 5' tongue, 6' fold up ramps, and a few other goodies. I'll try to get a few better pictures tomorrow as it was already getting dark out. Plus, when I take these logs to the saw mill, I'll get to see how much this all weighs. I helped my FIL take down 5 pine trees today and have 15 log length pieces (8.5') and about that many pulpwood pieces (63"). I don't know what the logs pay but the pulpwood is only $16 per TON. Almost not worth hauling.
Also bought this dump trailer about 3 weeks ago. It's a 6'x12' 12k dump. I recently built the box for when we use the chipper. I can get about 6,000 lbs of chips on it with that box.
Nice trailers. I have a TopHat car hauler. Just a word of advice, check out the wiring. Mine did not have anything like a plastic loom covering the wiring, and rubbed through and shorted out everything. The wires were all burnt, and the gauge going to the brakes was 1 size too small IMO.The brakes went out at the same time (wires actually ripped off of the magnets) as the short. I am almost done with my re-wiring job, which is 10 times better than the factory.

I have another Top Hat trailer. It's a 5x12 tandem. It's about 2 years old. The wiring on it seems fine although I did recently rewire it. I had a little incident where I went over a grate on the side of the road that was about a 5" drop. I wasn't going very fast (20 mph) but it must have been the perfect speed. The trailer bounced a few times and then I saw smoke coming from the trailer. I had broken both front leaf springs. It now has even stronger springs on it. When it happened, the axle went all the way to the bed of the trailer and pinched the wiring cutting at least one of the wires.
I've been very happy with the Top Hat brand and they seem to be as well built or better than most trailers I've come across. Plus the dealer that sells them has always given me great service.
Nice trailers indeed. I especially like the box for your chippings.
How is that ASV working out for you? I dont see many and havent even been around one for years and years.
It's been a great little tractor. I've added about 400 lbs on the back and can pick up about 1000-1200 lbs now.
A golf course in Michigan had it. They had bought it new in 2000. It only had 180 hours on it AND it had spent its entire life in a heated storage shed. It was in GREAT shape and still is. I've only put about 120 more hours on it.
