After I replaced mine, I deleted all the helpfull links, so I will try from memory. Some took pictures of step by step, so you might want to do a search, I just don't remember who. I did this in about 8 hrs, with only my 8 yr old son to help (to pass wrenches), so block off a day.

First off, get a deep 24mm socket, for the front mount nut on the front spring. I used a floor jack to raise the front end onto jack stands, placed under the frame just back of the front tires. That way your floor jack is then free to raise and lower the axle while removing the front spring. It is easier to take the bumper off, 3 bolts on each side. One on the outside corners, inside the fender well, there is a bracket to unbolt from the frame, and the two by the tow hook. You then will need to remove the lower support bracket of the radiator, it is under a rubber flap, then you will be able to get to the front spring bolt. I ended up taking out the spring from the bottom, and then fishing the new one thru that front opening, and it seemed easy enough. You will also want to remove the front shock bottom bolt for some freedom to move the axle down.

On the rear springs, the only pita is the passenger side, you have to remove some of the mounting bolts on the rear ac lines to get to the spring bolts. Remove the rear spring hanger with the spring, and then replace onto your new springs while it is on the floor. Also when installing the 4" tapered block, loosely bolt up the springs, and then with a separate jack placed under the spring pack, compress the spring enough to get the block under into place. This is way easier to get that block under there instead of fighting it. Also take note, the rear spring pack is quite a bit heavier, and harder to manouver, so a helping hand will make things easier to line things up. Good luck with the mod.

Check out the pic in my pis link below, I also have pics of the project, front and rear.
As Wallz said, block off a day, I had air tools, made life real easy. But still in the driveway. Not too difficult. take your time, you ll be fine.

i could see the rear spring pics not the front

how high did u have to lift the front end up so the tires came off the ground
i was in the garage so i tried to lift the front up i had it up almost a foot and the tires were still on the ground, you did lift the entire front end of the truck up all at one time or did you just lift one side at a time

You might try this thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...s-for-you.html

I just did the front because I had the RAS on the rear. Took about 6hrs on the front by myself. Definitely heat the spring bolts to loosen. Good luck, John

I used 3.5 tonne jack stands and still had to block under them to get enough height from them and not be fully extended. I needed an excuse to buy a good floor jack so went out and bought a 3.5 tonne before I did the springs. Now I use it when I rotate tires and other maint. As I recall, I needed to have the floor jack maxed out in order to get enough height for the jack stands and have the tires clear. Just remember to loosen the lug nuts before you lift.

99,
I lifted the front end up by the front axle, when the tire was off the ground I put jack stands under the frame and was able to let the jack down and got it as low as I needed.
