Dash light wiring questions.
I just bought a boost gauge for my truck and I need to hook up the dash lights too it, but I hate hacking into any random wire i find. is there a good place to tie into the dash lights. Maybe a wire that just dead ends? I also am going to do the exhaust brake mod soon. Anybody know of a good write up on it. I know I have found one before but for some reason I cant seem to find it again. I guess I am retarded and not using the search function properly.

I'd run my lights separately on a dimmer switch in the dash.
I don't always like having lights on on the dash, so I would want the ability to turn them off at will.
no reason for the gauge lights to be on if you are just running the cruisers as well.
