Brake Dust
Any updates on the Brake Dust issues on the 03 Expys. I have 1000 miles on mine. Will this get better with mileage?

I have 14,000 miles on my 03. The brake dust does not get better.

It definitely won't get better over time. In fact, after I changed the pads on my Expy, the problem has gotten progressively worse as the pads wear.

I've got 2,500 miles on my '03 it does seem like is dusting less. But I also waxed the rims to try and lessen the dust build up.
It really doesn't seem much worse than what my '00 Expedition originally did.

What about one of these products? I haven't used one, but they may work.

I recently purchased a set of Kleenwheels, when I install them I'll post my observations. The brake dust is killing me.

My 2003 EB has 7000 miles now and the wheels still turn black from brake dust by 2 weeks from the day I wash it.
On the other hand, I installed ceramix pads on my f-150 about 2 months ago and the wheels still look clean! I'm wondering if ceramix pads are available for the 2003 expedition?

Do a google search on "ceramic brake pads Ford Expedition" or go to the site below. It looks like you have to phone or e-mail them to get information on availability for specific models.
