Did some maintenance and mods (Pics)
OK.... So I'm finally sitting in front of my computer now editing some pictures and posting while I wait for my IDM to dry after replacing the 75.8K resistor with a 74.9K resistor and I'm glad to have this much of the maintenance done though I found out today that I need new batteries. Mine are about shot.
Anyhow, here are the pictures.......
While disconnecting the driver's side harness from the UVCH I found that I had a wire on the verge of breaking. So much so that it broke off when I was disconnecting it. I later fixed it by tinning the wire and tinning the contact lead that goes inside the plug and soldering them together. It worked quite well and now there's one less thing to break
I also completed the quarter mod so that I might not have the horrible experience of being stuck on the side of the road some where and torqued my rocker arms and injectors. Well I tightened them since I didn't have any torquing tools. I was extremely gentle with the injectors and just snugged the rockers.
Here is the passenger side after the IC tube was removed
Here's the driver's side valve cover back on and the CCV mod going in (Thanks Clay)
Here's a top side view after cleaning the pipes and reinstalling them
Here a view of the HPX installed after I got the IC pipes back in. I forgot to take pics before I put the pipes in.
Here's a pic of the IDM after the 75K mod had been done
Here's the IDM waiting to dry and a C clamp holding the lid on to ensure a good seal
And now... A job well done.......................

Good eye. I saw the circle in the wrong spot but didn't catch the quarter that needs to be cut down.

As Scott said, it's AKA the 50 cent mod. Here's a link with pics https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...ml#post6900483

Looks like you did a good job. Congrats.
Looks like he did grind it down, because it don't look like it sticks out to the gasket.
The thickness of the quarter has something to do with keeping it in place. The quarter is just right.
Don't forget, you have to put one in with the head showing and the other with tails showing.
