Sad day!

Today is indeed a sad day as we mourn the passing of two of our favorite entertainers, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.

Forgot about Ed. He was 86 though, and the other two were young. At least they were from my perspective. LOL

Maybe you'll get interviewed about what you think about his life. It seems they have interviewed just about everyone else but a few of us here.

He had talent, but was weird. I never was a big fan.

I started this thread just to get folks reaction and because I figured the new coverage would be non-stop for about a week. I'll bet the gov. of S.C was glad he died so the spotlight moved on.

I am too young to remember Michael Jackson as an entertainer, all I know is about his molesting past.

Who are these other 2 people that you are talking about?

It just bugs me, The house of reps has a moment of silence for an entertainer? C`MON!? When did this happen for our troops in the middle east? Maybe if they moonwalked across the sand...

Man Justin, you are really making me feel old. Farrah Fawcett was on the first "Charlies Angels" show on TV back in the early '70's she also had a poster that came out in about '74 that grew a lot of wood for young guys of that era.

Ed McMahon was the anouncer on the Tonight show in the '60s and '70s. Johnny Carson was the host. Jay Leno took over after Carson retired.

My first exposure to "Charlie's Angels" was when it came as a remake to the movie theater a few years back. I also only remember Ed McMahon as the guy with the big check lol.

Man, you make me feel young and naive!
