Transfer Case Shifter Chattering
I have a '74 F-250 Highboy. I just recently had a rebuilt C-6
transmission installed. I don't know if I didn't notice it before
the work or it just started, but while going down the road the
transfer case shifter in the cab chatters like crazy. When you
put your hand on it, it quiets down. Is this something I should
be worried about, or is it just the beast talking? Everything
seems to be working otherwise and the truck shifts like a dream.
I never knew the old tranny was bad, until I had the new on put
in.
