Door lock actuator replacement

Are there any threads on how to replace my Ranger's Door Lock Actuator? I thought I'd buy one, take the old out, put the new in and it's done. Not that easy! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

I have installed countless aftermarket actuator systems but never dealt with the factory systems at all. This is a stock actuator?

Replacing stock door lock actuator...

The actuator I'm replacing is stock but I actually bought the new one off the internet.
