need advice quickly
ihave to be on the road @ 5 am tomorrow, and of course the truck doesn't want to crank. turn the ignition switch and nothing. buzzer does come on sounds weak though. my tach goes below zero (almost all the way back around). i am thinkin its the batt. because she will crank with a jump and will be fine for a few weeks then its back to square one . last time this happened took the batt. back to wal mart for a test, of course they said it was fine. my truck is singin a whole other tune. but if it isn't the battery , other than a short, why is this problem recurring?

Not sure about that... it's all I use I have the same Maxx battery in my truck from 2001.
Same battery in my motorcycle since 2002.
It's all we use at work for all the fleet trucks.
No questions asked warranty good for 3 years.

Whoa just noticed this... your Wal-Mart actually tests batteries? Even the ones around here with a TLE don't bother, just replace it.

aight guys.....got it fixed....ignition modulater went bad, i had a lifetime warranty on it - so no cost. did step-up the alternator though, went to 80 amps. i kno w, i know ..probably need a few more amps due to those damn stock headlights. sory it took so long to get back with ya'll, i am only in town 2 days a week...but i thank you all for your input...keep on rockin
