Alternator question
Are the alternators interchangeable between a 1994 f-350 diesel and a 2002 f-250 psd? My 350 died 2 months ago and I was wondering if I could interchange parts.

I think they're different -- check me though. It's been a while since I looked at one that old.
When I need a new one, I'm getting one of these:
High Output Ford Alternator, PowerStroke High Output Alternator, Call 616-785-7990

The 2002 uses a 6G-series alternator. I believe the 1994 is a 3G-series.
They are definitely different alternators, and I wouldn't chance it to save a few bucks. The connectors may or may not be different, but what if they're the same but wired differently?
You don't want to let the smoke out of your electrical components.
