Got mine from Ed the parts guy, part # is 9C3Z-8101-A, I'm pretty sure. I'd also like to know the difference, alls I know is it is updated and after I had some spots appear on the degas bottle I replaced it. Turns out it was just overfilled when I got it, not HG's. Well, at least I haven't lost any more coolant since I adjusted the coolant to its' proper level.

Yea I bought mine directly from Ford. I think it was during the transition period, because I had to wait about 2 weeks to get it as I don't think they were allowed to sell the old ones. This was about 6 months ago I believe. Didn't even know they were making a new one I was sure happy when I pulled it out of the box though. You can definitely tell its different so don't worry about getting the wrong one. Sure solved my puking problem at least for a while. Just don't tell the dealership I gave it too that

according to my dealer they are still using the old cap for certain applications, I would guess cars or maybe the gassers.

Dumb question guys....which cap are we talkin about that is updated the actual radiator cap or the degas bottle cap???

They are the same thing - you do not have a radiator cap.
