hey guys, im sorta bummed out. i think the PCM took a dump in my truck. i got a CEL a few days ago and tried to pull the codes with no luck. the truck wont stay running long enough to to complete a KOER test, so i tried grounding the DLC under the hood to do a KOEO with no luck either. right now my options are either find one from the junk yard, or buy a reman through oreilly's where i work. im pretty sure ill have to take it to the dealership to have it programed. if i cant find one in a truck can i use one from a mustang, thunderbird or mark VII as long as it has MAF and an auto trans? its a 95 with a 5.0 MAF and 4R70W 2WD transmission

I have not heard of a dealership reprogramming one for a 95.
The one you need has either a program code of HUG2 or a Ford Drawing number # F4TF-12A650-APC.
This if and I am guessing that your CALLABRATION NUMBER is 4-54E-R10.
ehhh, i dont remember what wire it was off the top of my head. i remember double checking it with my EVTM. i also removed the connector for the PCM to make sure all connector pins were in good shape. nothing out of the ordinary...
You should get one from a truck or van with a 4R70W transmission, SFI, and a 5.0 MAF engine.
The HUG2 computer are very common, I myself have two spares. It should not be that hard to find.
hey guys, i found a PCM at a salvage yard with the numbers F4TF 12A650 APA. it also says HUG0 instead of HUG2. he assures me this will work in my 95 f150 5.0 MAF 4R70W, but i dont believe him, and i dont want to drive 68 miles to get the wrong part. can anyone tell me if this will work, or is he blowin smoke?
I think any HUG? would work, the zero is the first HUG program. HUG1 & HUG2 are newer revisions (improvements) to the program.
Seems like I read this somewhere so I can not say this with 100% certainty.
