Mrs. Mueckster was going to come, but it all depended on her getting away from work. She does payroll for a nationwide company. She won't be able to make it. People need their paychecks.

I understand that, I'm trying to convince Scott (Texas Outlaw) to come with you.

I’m planning on it, though I’m a little vague on the details. Tennessee (where exactly? what campground?), Aug 7th – 9th (but some folks are arriving on the 6th?), and I haven’t heard anything about a cost (I know the sites aren’t free, but how about the event in general?).

Also I’d really like to get in on the convoy with the MA, CT, and RI guys. Are you going to be taking I 81?

I’m planning on 1 adult (that’s supposed to be me ) and two boys ages 14 and 12. I would like to be able to convince the wife to come along, but she just doesn’t seem to get a kick out of the whole diesel truck thing, (I think she’s hoping I’ll outgrow it when I become the adult she’s been waiting on for about 15 years now).

Well Howard it would be great to have you join in. The more the merrier!! Right now it looks like Jim (MegaWatt) will already be south at the time but I'm hoping to be able to meet up with Pete (7.3 Rocket) somewhere in or just outside of CT sometime tuesday night the 4th and go from there.
As for your wife, I believe there will be a few other wives/signifigant others coming along and there will be several activities geared towards the kids so it won't be just a diesel weekend, more of a big get together with great people, family oriented fun and really nice trucks!!

Ok, you can put me down. Bringing the wife and 1 childern, 7 year old boy.

It's an 8 hour drive for me, so not sure what to think about that, I don't care for road trips. But I think it'll be worth it and it looks like there's some stuff to do around nearby too. Anyone have plans for fishing, Dollywood or some sightseeing?

I missed this detail earlier because I had originally planned on NOT coming, but now that I'm trying to come, I just realized I am in the same boat as Brandon Drummonds... August 9 is my 23rd anniversary!!

I might be able to work around it by arriving on the night of the 6th and leaving on Saturday afternoon. I'll be breaking this idea to my wife later today of "taking the boys off for a souple of Guy Days" right before the anniversary on the 9th. It may be a bust for me, but I'm going to try to make it work out.

I'll know more tomorrow.

Sure, but I ask for a campsite # and she told me that they would probably have to move us around trying to get us all as close as possible.
