I'm planning to be there. I do need somewhere to stay though unless I sleep in my truck. I don't think they'll rent a room to a 16 year old kid...

Two adults and one 3yr old crumbsnatcher. And one dog that thinks she's human.

Anyone ever play Cornhole? I can bring it if anyone is interested in playing. Maybe an FTE Cornhole tournament.

Thanks for all the offers, guys.

Jim says he's thinking he'll have a spare bed so as long as nothing changes with him I'm all set.

Pete: I'm all for meeting up and heading down together. Let's just make sure we're out of CT before 11pm. I can make a decent excuse for being out past the state-imposed curfew if it's near home, but anywhere far from home within the state I'm all done. But I don't think the cops in other states will enforce CT laws.

So are you going to take both PSDs or just his?

Oh you don't have one yet do you?
That's ok. We'll fix that.

The game is kinda like horseshoes only with bags filled with corn that you try and toss thru a hole in a board.

I think Mr Snapon will be going, He is looking to buy a camper and not sure what kind of reservations he needs to make yet, cabin or site.

No problem Pete, the offer stands if things change. As for being out of CT by 11, I'm not sure I will be able to make that,I usually work til 8:00pm but I'm going to try to get out a little early that day.If not maybe we can meet up a little further down the road. When it starts to get a little closer we can figure that out

I think Pete is talking about the curfew impossed on drivers under 18,in RI under 18y/o drivers can't drive after 10 pm (I think) unless it's for work,I'm guessing that's what he means

Oh, ok. Now I get it. Think there is something similar here in NC but only for the first year they have their licence.
Sorry for the hijack Barry.

Nope. There's really a curfew. No driving past 11pm unless it is for your job or you are in the vol. fire dept. which I don't get because you can't respond to calls til you're 18 anyways and the restrictions like that don't apply once you're 18.
I can get away with being out after 11 if I need to be as long as I'm pretty much within 15 miles of home. If I got stopped I'd just tell them I have a cow that has scours and I need to check on her.

I also can't go into Walmart or Home Depot and buy spray paint myself either. Heck I can't even buy a broad tip Sharpie. Now if I went to NAPA or something they'd sell it to me because they all know me, but the big chains will not sell it to you unless you're 18.

Welcome to CT. Land of age-ism and undue bias.

Sounds like a plan to me! Except I really don't feel like giving these moron cops any excuses. They're already mad enough at me already. Or at least the East Haven ones are.
