Steering column interchagability
Hey everyone. I have a wrecked 4wd 78 f150 and my brother just bought a 84 4wd f150 and was wondering if the steering columns are the same bacause his needs a new one. Any body know?

I don't think they are "interchangeable", you can make just about anything fit with a little custom welding and wireing but I wouldn't bother on something I could get for a few bucks at the wrecking yard.

No key lock on your 78, while the 84 does have it, as the key cylinder is in the dash on yours, and on the column on the 84.
