i replaced my power steering pump and changed the hose going to the brake hydroboost.now when i hit the brakes the power steering pump filler cap pops off.why?
The hydroboost unit uses ATF, but that should only cause a loud pump, not popping the cap off. Does it feel like the power steering is working? If the pump is not working properly or not at all, the cap will pop off.
