If I recall correctly, there is a way to modify the connection on the bulbs so you can insert a H1 or 9005 bulb (I can't remember which) into the ford fog harness on the truck. The book calls for a 9140 for the fogs, but that bulb as little throw. It would sometimes melt the housing.

My bulbs call for a 9145, but a 9006 looks exactly the same. (filament is at the same position, connections are the same, an exact identical replacement)
So I used a 9006 Silverstar. It melted the front lenses in little circles.
Enough of a melt to allow water inside the lens. I've got some moisture in the drivers side lens, and about 1/4" of water sitting in the passenger lens.
