D.p.tuner installed. Omg!!!!!!

well today was one of the best in a while.
i have a verry good friend who i grew up with and is like a big brother i never had .he owns a company that does oil field work and last year i did alot of welding for him, we built 2 wireline trucks it was several months work an him being a good friend i never ask to be paid. him and my dad try hard to keep me in line.he called after work and told me to come by. he knew i have been wanting an AR -15 for ever but cant justify spending that money. when i got to his house he had 3 brand new DPMS panther AR-15's in the box one for him one for his son and one for ME.
now thats a buddy, glad i did all that welding now, but still would do it for free again.
AND to top it all off my wife called me at work and said my dp tuner was at the house.
i finished installing my new isspro ev gauges.
then started on the tuner.the install was straight foward with the instructions.
ive read post like all of us oh my dp is the best it will out run brand x.
well holly crap my dp tuned truck will now outrun brand x and y.
i have no start, stock, 60 t, 80 e, 120 race.
its amazing how fast that big ol truck is now.
the response is off the chart.
on 80t at 70 mph, 1700 rpm, egt 800, trans 150 and boost 5 psi.
does this sound ok?
the egt's jump up hard when i get on it in 120r. up to 1200 and i backed off and they fell back off to 850.
does this sound normal.
to say im pleased with this is a huge understatement.
thanks to DP TUNER and to CLAY at riffraff for hooking me up on this truck.
and to you guys for all the support and good advice.

Congrats!! That does sound like a very good day. I would say off the top of my head, those numbers seem right. Do you have aftermarket exhaust and intake? You should put all that you have modded in your signature line now that you have enough posts.

Double-check all your boots to make sure they're tight. The EGTs are a tiny bit on the high side, IMHO. Even with my stock turbo, I was at 650 or so at 70 MPH. With the new turbo, I'm at 550ish and 2-3 psi at 70 MPH. But it looks like you have a lifted or leveled 4x4, so maybe that's normal. Mine is a stock-height 2WD.

Congrats , tig. Makes me sort of jealous.

On a different topic... the world is really getting smaller these days. I spent 9 years living in Beaumont and working in Evadale.

I do too, Barry, but sometimes you just have to live with the symptoms until you can get in a position to be capable of paying for the cure. I still have a few other things to get in place first, anyway, like installing my gauges, purchasing/installing exhaust, and the doing some level of tranny mod... then I'll make a little phone call and get that chip off my shoulder and into the PCM!!
