08 Tailgate Hinge?
Hi, I looking to put an 08 tailgate on, but I need a
left side hinge the part# is 4L3Z-83430B39-AA
but I don’t know the difference between a (pivot) or a (roller),
dose any body know? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Ok ran into a another problem, this is the one I ordered.
Pick up box - Tail gate - Pivot - W/integrated step
W/integrated step Left - 8 foot box 2008
And hear is the rollers, Does anybody know what the difference is
between a flareside and styleside?

Looks like that is for an F-150 as far as that goes for the numbers man. Look up Y2Kparts on here Ed can get you hooked up.

Agree with Justin, those look like F150 parts, the spring loaded tailgates didnt come in the SD's until 08. My 08 tailgate has the rectangle socket on the drivers side and what looks to me like same hinge as the old style on the passenger side. Cant help you with part numbers as I swapped the entire box. I sure like that tailgate!!

If you need a handle, you'll have the option to get a locking or non-locking handle, or a camera handle or not. I went with no camera, locking handle and re-used my lock cyl....good luck!
