tailgate question
I have a 2004 SD CC Diesel and I am looking to upgrate my stock tailgate to one off an 08+ with a camera and a step. I already have the 08+ mirrors, rear bumper, and tail lights.. I also already have a headunit with a TV and camera options so that will not be needed.
I found one with Tan trim for sale and I would like to pick it up however I need black trim. Can someone please tell me what the part numbers are to the black trim pieces on the top of the tail gate? I need 3 pieces, one on the left, one for the step and one on the right.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have been on the phone with Ford for a while and they cant figure it out
Also I know I need one of the hinges off the 08+ trucks to make the conversion on my truck. Does anyone know which hinge it is, and the part number??

I was lucky to find a new take off Oxford white with line ex the same color as mine, the dealer that took it off & sold the truck had the key code so they cut me a key to fit all for $400.00 cash

I am getting the one with the camera and step for $900 delivered to my door. I have to get the molding plastic in black (its currently tan) and then get it painted black to match my truck...
If the tailgate has the vin tag on it can I get a key cut for it based on the vin number?

My friend owns a small shop that does HID's and stuff I dont know the exact brand but they are 10K HID's.. I love them they help a TON at night.. I was there when he installed them and it was cake.. I LOVE the MBRP, it whistles PERFECT!!

Did anyone ever find out what the part numbers were for the black tailgate trim pieces? I bought a 2010 tailgate and it has camera and step with the tan pieces (King Ranch). $300!!!
