tow haul switch
Hey fellas my truck isn't shifting properly under load the tranny oil level is good and it isn't over heating .Could the tow haul switch be burnt out the light is ? would this cause it to power out and not shift?

Problems with the Tow/Haul switch are usually caused by the wire in the transmission selector "rod" fraying or breaking. Sometimes the switch itself wears out and need to be replaced, which is and easy job.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean the engine runs out of power before the shift happens? If so, change your fuel filter.
