External Temp Gauge off??

Simple question, The external temp gauge in my truck constantly reads somewhere between 58 and 67 degrees. I know today it was at least 85 out. So, is there a bad sensor somewhere? Where it located? I added an Edge to my truck in mid april but the temp gauge seemed to work fine until a couple weeks ago. Not a big deal but its nice to know the temp once in awhile. Thanks for any help.

There is a sensor on the radiator support. Not sure of exact location as I haven't had to change one out. I do know that they run around $80 and are available only from Ford. You might get a better price from one of the site sponsors. Hope this helps.
