Valve Stem Notice From Ford
I got a notice from Ford warning me of potential valve stem issue. It looked like a recall notice, but Ford just said keep an eye on it, and if you have a problem they would fix it. Thought it was a little funny that they sent out the notce without requiring Ford to fix the stem.

I can't say for sure what the logic is, but I suspect they might be assuming that a lot of us have replaced our tires and valve stems by now and the problem is minimal. I do know that when Dill acknoledged the problem with their valve stems, that was the course of action recommended. There wasn't any recall on them that I can recall. That is probably what Ford is doing per Dill's recommendations.
