The control module for the keyless system is located behind the rear seat back on the back wall. There should be a sticker that will give you the five digit code. The other option is to go to the dealer and pay them to pull from the computer.

Keyless Entry Code for 2004 F-150 Regular Cab

I've seen tons of post on where the code is for extended cabs and super cabs, but i can't seem to find any post that say where the module is located on a regular cab.

Any one know?
thanks

It’s still mounted on the back wall, just like the other cab configurations.

Welcome to FTE.

Another post on how to remove the seat.

tbozzi, it is in the same area as the others, just dont have a rear seat to remove. On driver side of rear wall per EVTM diagrams.

cowboy the superduty module is located against the firewall deep behind the instrument panel and damned near impossible to see. You're probably best off getting the dealer to retrieve it for you with a scanner. Go to your selling dealer, and often they will do it for free. I know we do for our customers.

I took off my panel and there is litterally nothing there except one wire running across the back wall of the truck and two vents. anyone have any other ideas of where the code could be located?

yea, factory power locks, windows and mirrors, switches on the door.

nothing else fancy, manual seats, manual rear sliding window, no mirror defroster. dont know if that helps.

Pulled up an 05 book and it shows the same. Even without keyless the power door locks are run through the body security module.
