Tranny?
The E4TP is a standard Ford casting number:
E- 1980 decade
4- year 4 (so 1984)
T- truck
P- auto tranny
So it's a 1984 auto trans... but I don't know what the KA is for.
The easiest way to identify it is to look at the tranny pan... if it's got 11 bolts, it's a C4. The C6 has 17 bolts. Also the C4's case is 17 inches long (not including the tailshaft) and the C6 is 20 inches. Hope that helps.
