the only t-case behind a C4 was the Dana 20 in the early bronco. The fullsize bronco/F-100/F-150 used a C6 infront of a NP-203 or NP-205. Same for the F-250/F-350 with Auto. The later years with AOD used yet again a different tranny in front of a NP-208 or Borg-warner 13xx style t-case.Good luck.
