C6 transmission
Got my self a C6 transmission out of a 1982 Ford 1 ton van. It bolted to a 460 and I was told it would bolt up to my 1979 351M. I need to know this befor I pick it up. Thanks Art

C6 transmission
As I understand it, the 460, 400, and 351M all share the same bell housing pattern. I'd call the service department of your local dealership to double check though.

I'm pretty sure your correct. The 429 is in the 385 series as well.

yes it has the same bolt pattern and it will bolt up
