Sometimes I feel like a sissy

Anyone here besides me afraid of heights? I have a two story house and I'm deathly afraid to get on the ladder and perform very simple tasks let alone climbing on the roof. I do suffer from vertigo when I'm say 15+ feet in the air. Maybe I need a support group!

Tim

I'm with 'ya Tim. I can get on the roof of the house but any higher than that and I don't like it. Flying isn't too bad but going across tall bridges, standing at the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris in Vegas...

I'm not a huge fan of heights either. Or snakes.

I'll go up in a manlift where I have the controls, but ladders and towers aren't my favorites. I can do them, but I don't like them.

I'm okay with ladders. Roofs on the other hand... Ours is pitched so steep I'd rather pay someone to get up on it.

I used to go up on roofs without a problem. One side of my house is fine to walk on but the other side is scary where it is 20 feet straight down. It gets worse as you age. Naw, you aren't a sissy, just normal.

I'm not afraid of heights but, falling scares the heck outta me!! Ever see those guys that change the red light bulbs on top of communication towers? No freakin' way.....

My irrational fear is being in very tall buildings in L.A., especially downtown L.A., being in a high-rise during an earthquake is an unpleasant thought.

You could always come and help me work on our grain elevators!

Nope, not afraid of heights.

I'll help with your toilet if you'll help me on my elevators!

Being on a manlift like that doesn't freak me out- as long as there isn't anyone standing around it. Spend a couple hours at 60' after some smartass switches it to ground control and you'll know what I mean.

There is no way I could get on a ladder two stories up. I sturggle with step ladders. I'm so afraid of heights I can hardly look out a third story window without getting a little on edge. Now I can jump dirt bikes and ATVs as high as possible without any problem. Imagine that! It must be the fact that there is something under me. Don't even get me started on things like being afraid of drowning.
