Removing Rear Rotors
I have a 1997 Explorer Sport. I need to replace the rear rotors. After removing the brake caliper, does the rotor come off? I know I may need to use a hammer to get them loose. Just want to make sure there are no hidden things that need to be removed.

You may need to back off the e-brake shoes to get the rotor off - rear rotors have a drum and shoes for e-brake. Should have a slot on the back side to loosen the shoes with a brake adjuster.

nothing else holding it. if it moves 1/4 inch then it is not "stuck" and should pull off, only thing that can hold it after that is the e-brake.
