I wanted to do this when I used to have an '00 F150, but didn't work out. The frames on these trucks are fairly weak, but you can always box them in I guess. I bent the frame on mine after getting some air and nose diving into the pavement (oops). That might be above average abuse though..

oh well.....

and the front of the frames until about halfway back to the cab are already boxed.....

I watched two trucks get built last year.

This one went together real fast without thinking everything through.



This one the guy thought about every move before he made any decisions.


The white one did not work well, 24" lift with arched springs left little spring action, the springs were almost rigid triangles the arch was so high.

The yellow one on stock springs with custom spring hangers works very well, almost to well.

The white one went down the road this spring, the yellow one runs every weekend.

How can something work <i>"to well"</i> Haha. Amazing paint job on the yellow truck. I'm not a big fan of the confederate flag, but it was done very nice.
