Spring hangers + selling my truck info

Looks as though I have a potential buyer for my truck. I have been leaving buyers the option to remove the lift to trim my asking price down for them. As is, I need $9,500. But I am offering it for sale at $7,500 with the lift, wheels, and tires off. So, the potential buyers are our companies contractors for our businesses. They need a hard work truck, and what better than mine. So to help bring it back to being more durable, I have offered to put it back to stock and to help them save money. Anyway, I need to start planning the removal of the shackle reversal kit in the front, and the rear springs in the rear... BUTTTT, as some of you may know, when installing the shackle reversal kit, you have to grind into the rear spring hanger on the front leaf spring..I would need to replace those hangers in order to bring the front back to stock, and also re-order some front shackles..The shackles are $50 from Bronco Graveyard, but they dont list a rear spring hanger for the front spring hanger, just a front spring hanger for the rear lift spring. Do you guys know if the front spring hanger for the rear leaf spring, is the same one as the rear spring hanger for the front leaf spring? They do have those listed for about $90 for a pair.. I will attach the link to bronco graveyard. Anyway, I figured to order the new shocks, hangers, shackles, and new u-bolts, it would cost about 400-500 bucks depending if I can reuse my u-bolts, and a crap load of elbow grease. So, I dont know, its a lot of work but if I can get $7,500-8,000 stock, and sell my parts for another $2,500. I would be making about 10,000 after expenses and alot of work.

Ford350Baby:

I thought I was subscribed to your drive line vibration thread, but I don't recall seeing that resolved. So did you find the problem? How did you correct it?

I mean, I'm sure you fixed it or you wouldn't have said this in your ad:

"It runs so well and drives so smooth and strong, that I know now would be a good time to let the next owner experience this."

And FWIW, that seems like a lot of labor to go through, to possibly recoup your parts money. If it were me, I'd try to recoup the money for the tires, lift, etc... while they were still on the truck.

After reversing the shims in the rear axle to bring the pinion angle back up, I noticed a 2 inch dent in the rear driveshaft..I had it balanced at a shop, and what do you know, it solved the issue...So, all that pinion angle shifting, shackle flip removal, it was just a dent in the dang shaft... And yes that is an awful lot of work to remove the lift, I would prefer to send the truck to the next owner in style..I have it calculated it would cost m $400 just to bring it back to stock (shocks, u-bolts, hangers, stock shackles)..So I really wouldnt prefer to do it that way, but a sale is a sale and I understand $9,500 is a lot of money, but I think its fair due to the incredible amount of labor, modifications, and condition of the truck. I really wanted like $12,000 for it to be honest, but the end of the year is coming and I need another truck. I sold my car by the way too for $500 less than pay off because of the 3 accidents.
