Knock sensor location 4.6
98 F150 4.6 liter
Where exactly is the knock sensor on these engines? Is it different between the Windsor and Romeo blocks? I have my manifold off and there is a sensor right in the middly of the valley, but everyone and everything I read says it's off to the passenger side. It is screwed into a nut right slap in the middle of the lifter valley, and there is copper showing on one of the wires right where it comes out of the epoxy on the switch. Any help identifiy if this is indeed the knock sensor would be greatly appreciated.
