Vacuume pump questions?

Vacuume pump questions?
I have repaired my vacuum hubs seals and they vacuum test out better then the service manual requirements, but now my vac pump runs continuiously, pulling about 15 in-Hg of vac. I had noticed that before, when the hubs leaked, I had the lines capped, I though if vac is where it's supposed to be, it shuts off, (a lot of times the pump was off during preheat) is this true? And if it does, is there a shut off pressure switch and location? I couldn't find it in the service manual. Thanks for any info.

Ok, I dug into the pump a little more and found the vac switch on the pump under the oval side cover with the short hose on it, tested with my vac gauge and it shuts off at 17 in-Hg of vac, my pump would only pull 16 without the vac tank, I adjusted the cutout to 15.5 in-Hg for now till I break down and replace the pump.
