10k andchip?
well when i installed my chip i forgot to take out the 10k! and it was smokey in higher settings with out getting into the throttle, now i dont have guages yet but i am super carful and i only drive around town and blip the throttle here and there, very carful with my egts, but is there any one that runs the 10k witha chip? there was a duramax behind me when i happend to be "testing" and tossed it in 100 and just a little pedal and i left a nice black stream

I dont know really if leaving the 10K mod could hurt or help anything, but the chip sellers recomend to get rid the 10K mod, because the chip makes the function it does and better, I took out it, when installed my TW chip.

i have a ts chip with tunes from a guy on PSnation, pretty sure there PHP tunes, same settings and descriptions as the PHP site aswell, he worked for beans and them so i had no problem buying them, i got stock, high idol, econo80,100,120,140
im guna have it reburned,shouldnt have done 20hp incriments, econo is great but its a louder crisper motor, 100 is crap, 120 is awsome but you have to get into the pedal, and 140 is super touchy but i stay out of it because i dont have guages yet.

with my tw chip and stage 1's, i forgot to take out my 14.7k resistor, and was surprised when i took it out. yes it adds some smoke to the mix but also if i get on it, i set an icp code every time. plus its easier to set a cel with the resistor. i tried different combo's so i COULD haul a$$ with out setting a cel but i had to go down to a 4.7k. but bottom line you're better off without it

Yes, it increases the ICP. A chip does that and also changes the timing and pulse width.

I did the same as you. I installed my TW chip and forgot to remove the 10K mod. It set a CEL everytime I got on it hard. I removed it and all is fine. No performance lost either. I believe the chips work great by themselves.

Me too. I have read that with a superchip someone has a tunner or something else (maybe cOOn?), but with a good chip like TW, DP or PHP, you dont need any more IMHO.
