95 F150 Dash

Can you swap out an instrument cluster on a 95 F150 for one that has the tach, or is it wired differently, different connectors? Thanks.

In a word: Yes. This is plug & play. Do, however, be sure to only use a cluster from a 94 or 95. 92-93s are wired differently; as are (I believe) 96s.

The 97 F250/350 has the same cluster as the 95-96 F150, 250, 350. In 97 only the 150 changed.

yes, but according to the above post it is believed that the wiring setup changed in 96, meaning that the 97 trucks would likely be different as well. gotta narrow it down as much as possible to help the OP with his swap. cant be chasing parts around and wasting money

Thanks for the article reference. There are several pluck and pay salvage yards in my area. I haven't had any trouble getting parts for my truck, so it's likely they will have the dash parts I need. Thanks for all the help.
