I currently am in the market for a few new gauges. Unfortunately my A-Pillar is already commited/occuppied with a Quadzilla Commander (stand alone) that displays EGT, Trans, ECT and Boost.
I am interested in getting an electric fuel gauge and EOT gauge....and a third if you guys think I am missing something.
I have been looking at the rear view mirror gauge pods and the gauge pods that mount in the cubby right below the ashtray to the left of it. I am just not sure how well the rear view mirror pod assembly will hold up and same goes for the cubby pod mount. The rear view mirror is more visible and it seems like the cubby mount is more durable in regards to mounting
A few questions:
I definitetly need a fuel pressure and EOT gauge, is there a third (important) that I am missing or you guys want to recommend?
In regards to the pod setups......anyone recommend either or?
There are two screws above the radio, so you have to pull the radio first. Then its just snap-pins. Its easiest to use a trim tool or screwdriver to pop the bottom out first, then just work your way to the top pulling with your hands. Then when its all looks reach in and disconnect the headlight and other switches.
Very cool. I am certain that an EOT gauge and a fuel pressure gauge are the remaining two gauges I need. I plan to install a RR from ITP in the future and am curious to see how the pressure changes are before and after the RR install.
P.S. it appears that you removed the sterring wheel....is this correct?
No, steering wheel was not removed. I had the airbag removed, but you don't need to. I had it removed because at the time I had pulled the dash to do sound deadening and removing the airbag was part of the dash removal procedure.
