Puzzled on fog lights

Puzzled on fog lights
The other day i could have sworn i had seen a fog light on a 04-08 f150 that was placed in the lower valence where i think a tow hook goes. now... was i seeing a chrome tow hook or does anyone know if there is a factory or aftermarket fog light that goes in that space. Thanks in advance

OEM foglights go on the metal part of the bumper, right below the headlights
04-05 = square headlights...about 8" long, 3" tall
06+ = round headlights...about a 4-5" circle
nothing OEM has ever come in the lower plastic valence. If you are a 4x4, there is a divot missing from that valance for the tow hooks....if you are 4x2, the valance is 1 continuous piece

Thanks for the idea i might look into the superduty square fog lights or something else to go on either side of the front plate i dont want to cut or swap bumpers to try and make the oem ones work.
