Backup Camera
The Post Office tried to deliver it yesterday, but nobody was home to sign for it so I have to pick it up today.

I had one of those back up cameras, but it was from Costco. I'm pretty sure it's the same one. It was great for the most part, but my only objection to it was in bright daylight, it took a while for the camera to adjust to bright sunlight. But, you get what you pay for.
Then, some punk stole my monitor off it's mount on the dash. So now I don't have it any more. Oh well.

I am looking at mounting one of these to the back of my 5er and then have it go into a head unit with a screen like the in dash dvd players of today. Here is the Linky and most of these will work with any monitor rca inputs.

Yeah, I did the same here and it's still $55.87. I think I'm going to watch them every couple of days and wait for them to drop the price before I pick one up.
At one time I was thinking of going with the '08 factory stuff but after looking at prices......That aint gonna happen! After seeing this thread it got me searching again and I found what I think I am eventually going to go with, because I'm tired of the back-up-jump-out routine to keep from beating up another bumper. My local Sams is still $80 on this setup.

I actually found a camera and a rearview mirror that would get me a setup like the '08's. I have the links on my computer at home that I will post later. I would like to get some opinions on them. The mirror is still a little high priced but nothing like the factory stuff.
ok not sure of the maker of the camera i have. if it is the same as the one at wallmart and also pepboys it works great even wireless. the diesel thrown a little feedback from time to time but for $20 at radio shack you can make it wired. works great on my repo truck
