Looks like Goodyear has come out with a new (to me) tire. Not many follow-ups on Tire Rack. For an A/T it sure looks agressive, and it's in an E rate in 315/75/16's. Thoughts?
I just got a flyer from Goodyear and they were advertising the DuraTrac. They look pretty sweet. I might consider them the next time I have to buy tires...
hay guys i work at goodyear in beaumont texas we make the rubber for the tires. im a welder at the plant.
we have a tire sale twice a year were they bring tires out to the plant parking lot and sell them.
i looked at these tires and would love to have a set. but i have new tires now. maybe next time.

IIRc Beaumont has produced some really great country music stars.
oodave its a sale for the workers at the plant that comes to the parking lot.
but im pretty shure anyone can get the sales price we do. i bought my wife a set of 20" eagle gt's if you put them on a good year card you get like 10 % or so off and can pay it off before a year with no intrest.
i saw a sale add in our local sunday paper and it was the same as we get.
we do have a lot of good singers come out of this area. thanks
Have you seen the Wrangler Authority at Wal Mart. (I believe they are exclusively available there) It is considered an AT but is the most aggressive AT I've ever seen and is VERY similar to the Toyo MT at a MUCH cheaper price. I believe the 305/70R16 may be the largest size, and they are only in 15 and 16 inch sizes. But the 305 was E rated. here's a pic
I'm not sure on the availability of all sizes. I was walking around the other day, looking for some cheap seat covers to slip on when I'm really nasty (or actually when my laborers are and don't have extra clothes to change into). The auto section here has a bunch of tires on display atop the aisles. I looked up and saw this tire. I went around to the display, and checked out the sizes it came in. I didn't talk to the dept manager, but noticed it did come in 305/70R16. I've stepped up to 315's so no good for me now, but my bro-in-law has 305's on his duramax, so I told him to check them out. I tried Wal Mart's website but got the same info, so maybe they don't have the website up to date. I'd check out the store personally.
