This sucks. Pics will come. I broke the front part of the driveshaft. The shaft loops on the ujoint right behind the carrier bearing broke. Sheared right off. Left the front part of rear half of shaft on the splines behind carrier bearing and the rest took a hike down highway at 75mph and hit a gaurd rail post
Don't do it. Really, I wouldn't try moving around with just the front axle towing anything at all. Perhaps an empty trailer, but nothing else. Have you looked into getting a road tractor for your hauling? A single axle day cab should't cost that much used. I know you've got connections to locate a truck like that.
