Man! When it rains it pours on you! You have been having some rotten luck lately. Was it damaged recently in the accident you were in? Something to look at. I know you do tow a lot.

This sucks. Pics will come. I broke the front part of the driveshaft. The shaft loops on the ujoint right behind the carrier bearing broke. Sheared right off. Left the front part of rear half of shaft on the splines behind carrier bearing and the rest took a hike down highway at 75mph and hit a gaurd rail post

The wreck was all frontal. Had to have bumper and tire and alignment. And paint touch up on filler panel.

Been there before. It's been a while though. I assume you're too heavy to drive with the front axle only.

Wow, as much as I hate to get rid of a truck I'd be considering before it completely falls apart! You've had alot of bad luck with this one...

John I'm putting the load on my pintle now behind dump truck. Is 7500 pound trailer too much for front to pull?

Don't do it. Really, I wouldn't try moving around with just the front axle towing anything at all. Perhaps an empty trailer, but nothing else. Have you looked into getting a road tractor for your hauling? A single axle day cab should't cost that much used. I know you've got connections to locate a truck like that.

The load is off the trailer and I got it up to the ramp. But the empty trailer is 7500 but it was easy as pie to the ramp
