So what is the weak link up front?
In a F250 the D50 is pretty comparable to the Ford 9". The D60 is comparable to the rear end in many 3/4 ton trucks.
Yep, you run 4 wheel drive on dry pavement and you're going to break something because of drive line bind. But with the rear axle disconnected, why is there a problem with front wheel drive in a pinch?
