4x4 Light stuck on!

4x4 Light stuck on!
Hey guys, I have a 1994 f150 4x4 auto . I have manual shift 4wd. My dash 4x4 and low range lights are on the low range light is flickering almost constantly, but I don't believe it is in 4x4. I have checked the linkage and it is in 2wd and works good. also the hubs are unlocked. I was thinking it could be the transfer case position sensor? What do you guys think?

Try un hooking the wiring plug out of the back of the t case... then hooking it back up up. If that dont fix it just leave it un hooked. My truck did the same thing, when I un hooked it then hooked it back up the low range light stoped working all together, but the 4x4 light works.

Thanks Bucks, I just did exactly that. I unplugged the connector wiggled it around plugged it back in and now it works perfectly. If it happens again I'm just gonna unplug it.
