I have a V10 in a F53 chassis that has been sitting for about a month. Went to start it and it turns over fine but will not start. Fuel pump is pumping, have pressure at the fuel rails (not sure how much), but it seems adequate. If I spray a short burst of starting fluid in the intake it fires up, but quits when the starting fluid is gone. I sprayed A small amount of gas in the intake and it did not fire. Pulled the cop off of #10 and put a test spark plug in the boot and turned it over and did not see any spark. Engine has always started immediately. Checked for codes and none are stored. What will kill the spark to all cylinders? Does this engine have enough compression to cause starting fluid to ignite without spark?<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- / message --> <!-- controls -->
It's quite possible that the starting fluid is igniting under compression.
Check the crankshaft position sensor-if that signal is not present-no spark.

Johnny you get the cigar.... sorta... a critter (probably of the rodent variety) had chewed the crank position sensor cable in two. Spliced it back together and she cranked right up.. May thanks for the help.
Not a problem-it's really common for the connector to get a bit of oil on it and with heat, oil, and the enviroment-the retainer clips break off and it'll drop loose. I've seen many non-starting modulars like that.
