Who makes it?
I recently purchased my F250 PSD with 4-speed automatic. Does Ford manufacture this tranny? I was at a truck show this past year, and it almost seems to me they had an Allison coupled to the PSD on their cutaway model.

Who makes it?
Ford makes the automatic in the SuperDutys. It's called the 4R100 and is made in a Ford plant in Sharonville, Ohio, just north of Cincinnati.
If you get the Powerstroke in an F650 or F750 it is attached to an Allison automatic.
